Reiki Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga fosters profound relaxation, rejuvenating both body and mind while promoting tranquility and overall well-being. Suitable for practitioners of all levels, this yoga style involves a slow pace with poses held for extended periods, using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters to enhance the soothing experience. It focuses on the harmonious connection between body, mind, and breath, emphasizing the meditative essence of yoga.
Reiki Restorative Yoga combines these deeply relaxing, prop-supported poses with the gentle energy healing of Reiki, creating a powerful synergy for stress relief, nervous system balance, and holistic healing.
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that involves the gentle laying on of hands or hovering of hands above the body to channel universal life force energy. The practitioner acts as a conduit, allowing this energy to flow into the recipient, which helps to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes.
Reiki is non-invasive and can be experienced as a sense of warmth, calm, or subtle energetic shifts, making it accessible and beneficial for people of all backgrounds.
While supported in a restorative pose, a Reiki practitioner provides energy healing, enhancing the yoga’s effects and guiding you toward deep relaxation and healing. This practice is perfect for anyone seeking profound calm and restoration for mind, body, and spirit, requiring no prior experience.
Please bring a yoga mat, bolster, and blocks if you have them. You may also wish to bring a small blanket for additional comfort. There will be some props available to borrow.
